We would appreciate if you could provide a PDF of your poster, together with a printed version. The supplied PDF will be used to produce a poster calendar (consisting of all posters at A4 format) for all the conference participants.
Poster content requirements
- The definitive title of the poster. The title will be used as a reference in our poster book, so please don't change the title after submitting your final poster.
- Your poster should contain a clear introduction, goal and expected/achieved results of your research.
- If the reported research was supported by the NWO, be sure to include the project number (and subsidy) and the NWO logo (downloadable from NWO website) on both file and printed poster.
- The name(s) of the coordinators, (co-)authors and the institutions/organizations of the people involved (either in the author list or in a separate note).
- The research website.
- Put captions under your figures and/or images and do not use too small font sizes.
- The committee recommends that you include a photo of yourself in the poster.
File requirements
- The file can only be in PDF.
- The file should not exceed 5 MB. For tips to make the poster smaller, please visit the Adobe website.
- Please send only non-secured files.
- The poster must fit on a single A4 page. Make sure the poster is still readable when reduced to a A4 page.
- The file must be printable at a resolution of 300 dpi or bigger.
- Please beware of using exotic colours which may not be distinguishable after printing.
- If you use non-standard fonts, please enclose the font. For help: visit the font page at the Adobe website.
Printed posters requirements
- On November 5, 2009 you are expected take a printed poster.
- The size of the full-size poster (max. A0 size) should fit on a poster board of 220 cm height by 90 cm width.
- The printing of the final full-size poster version remains your responsibility.
- Only portrait posters.
- Please minimize differences between the provided PDF file and your full-size poster. Especially the title should remain the same.
